Maurer-Stutz, Inc. (MSI), with offices located in Peoria and Canton and chartered as an Illinois Corporation, was originally formed in 1993 as Maurer-McGillem Engineers. After a merger with R.A.N. Consultants, Inc. and a subsequent acquisition of Anderson Engineering Consultants, Ltd., Maurer-McGillem Engineers changed its name to Maurer-Stutz, Inc. in 1997. In 2004, Maurer-Stutz, Inc. (MSI) acquired Feldmann & Associates. In 2009, Maurer-Stutz, Inc. completed an internal ownership transition and remains privately held by employee owners.  In 2015, an office was established in Muncie, Indiana.
