Primary responsibilities include design of highways, roads, streets and paths; including drainage, profiles, geometrics, pavement markings in addition to development of plans, specifications and estimates for various transportation engineering projects.
To qualify, the candidate must have a B.S. or an M.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET Accredited College/University, along with an EI or PE license. The candidate must be proficient in the use of Microstation and GeoPak and also possess effective verbal and written communication skills. Illinois Department of Transportation related project design experience is preferred.
Maurer-Stutz, Inc. is seeking to hire a graduate with a B.S. Degree in a science or construction related field for a full-time entry level engineering technician position. The position will assist in a variety of disciplines including Transportation, Water/Wastewater, Construction and Survey. Primary responsibilities will include GIS analysis and design, construction observation and preparation of plans and specifications. Office assignments in either Peoria or Canton and field assignments throughout Central Illinois and Eastern Iowa should be expected.
To qualify, candidates must have a B.S. Degree. Strong organizational and communication skills are required. Working knowledge of ArcGIS, AutoCAD and basic Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) software platforms is preferred. Maurer-Stutz, Inc. is seeking an experienced structural engineer to grow our existing structural engineering team in Peoria, IL. In addition to structural planning and design this position requires working with clients, client managers, and project managers to complete projects on time and within budget.
Primary responsibilities include design of structural systems including steel, concrete, masonry and wood.
Required Skills and Required Experience:
To qualify, the candidate must have a minimum of four (4) years of relevant structural engineering experience including development of project details, plans and specifications. In addition, experience with project management such as development and monitoring of project scopes, schedules and budgets is preferred. The candidate must also possess effective verbal and written communications skills. An IL SE license or ability to become licensed is required.
Maurer-Stutz is seeking an engineering intern with a BS or MS in Civil Engineering or a related field to continue growth of our existing structural design services team. The position entails working out of our Peoria, IL office and consists of working with other members of our design teams to help design and develop plans and specifications for various diverse structure types, including bridges, culverts, commercial and industrial buildings, houses and water/wastewater structures.
The ideal applicant is licensed (or registered) as an EI and is enthusiastic about structural design and working on design teams. Experience working in Microsoft Office is required and experience in working with AutoCAD, Microstation, or other structural design software is preferred.
This is a full time position. Pay to be commensurate with experience.
