Congratulations to our client, Nelson Knolls Farm, on their successful project. Maurer-Stutz designed, and helped with permitting, on this project that included a new dairy cow freestall barn with robotic milking system, manure collection and transfer systems, a manure collection and settling tank which was incorporated into the existing farm.
We enjoyed working with the Nelson family on their project to incorporate this exciting, progressive technology. This was a large long term investment for them that will help them improve their process and be profitable.

We are honored to be a part of the development of the Almost Home Kids facility in Peoria, IL.
Almost Home Kids is an innovative and integrated community-based transitional care model. It provides transitional care for children with complicated health needs, such as children who are dependent on a ventilator to breathe or a feeding tube for nourishment, who are ready to be discharged from the hospital but for whom preparations at home need to be made, as well as training for their families, and respite care.

- Cindy Knickerbocker's niece, Lucy Kjer, graduated from Ottumwa High School, Ottumwa, IA. She plans to attend Bethel University in St. Paul, MN.
- Terry Feldmann's son, Ryan Jacob Feldmann, graduated from Missouri School of Science and Technology, Rolla, MO, with Bachelor's of Science in Geological Engineering. He will be starting a job in June with the engineering consulting firm of Golder Associates located in St Charles, MO.
- George Merkle's son, Joshua Merkle, graduated from Limestone Community High School this weekend. He will be attending Purdue University in the fall and he plans to major in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Physics.
- Rick Anderson's daughter, Emily Marie Anderson, graduated from Illinois State University (Sum Cum Laude) with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and has accepted a first grade teaching position at Grundy Elementary in Morton.
