Position Available - Highway Design Engineer

Maurer-Stutz, Inc. is seeking an experienced highway design engineer or an experienced highway design engineer intern to grow our existing transportation planning and design engineering team in Peoria, IL.  


Primary responsibilities include design of highways, roads, streets and paths; including drainage, profiles, geometrics, pavement markings in addition to development of plans, specifications and estimates for various transportation engineering projects.

Required Skills and Required Experience:

To qualify, the candidate must have a B.S. or an M.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET Accredited College/University, along with an EI or PE license.  The candidate must be proficient in the use of Microstation and GeoPak and also possess effective verbal and written communication skills.  Illinois Department of Transportation related project design experience is preferred.
