American Red Cross - Blood Donations
We are proud of our own George Merkle, PE and Dan Good, PE for their continued support of the American Red Cross through blood donations.
For information on how to donate and to learn the stories of other donors, please visit the American Red Cross for more information.
Peoria Push Derby Dames
Outside of work, Maurer-Stutz’s Josie Esker, PE, has been a part of the local roller derby league, the Peoria Push Derby Dames, for over three years. While the sport of roller derby is hard-hitting action packed sport, the Peoria Push is also a not-for-profit organization, focusing on the empowerment of women, raising money for local charities, and volunteering within the Peoria community.
I Spy A Wish
Maurer-Stutz is proud to continue our sponsorship of the I Spy A Wish Team Adventure. In the second year of the I Spy A Wish Team Adventure, our goal is to adopt the wishes of 4 area children by raising $25,000. This includes in-kind donations of products and services of close to $3,400 per wish and average expenditures of approximately $6,000 per wish. In fiscal year 2011, the foundation fulfilled 766 wishes, the most ever in chapter history!
Congratulations to Scott Perry
Maurer-Stutz is proud to congratulate Scott Perry, EIT on his completion of the Civil Engineer Basic Course at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) at Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton, OH this spring. Scott has been a member of the 182d Airlift Wing in Peoria since the spring of 2006.
