We are pleased to have been selected by the Illinois Department of Transportation to work on Phases I and II of the Pinecrest Drive Bridge Replacement over Interstate 74 in East Peoria.

The current bridge is almost 60 years old and is both structurally and geometrically deficient.  We are teaming with Prairie Engineers of Illinois, Kaskaskia Engineering Group and Fuhrmann Engineering to perform this work.

Great progress is being made on the Nebraska Avenue Bridge Replacement for the City of Peoria.  Josie Esker, PE, SE, is managing the project. They just finished up with pouring the bridge deck and the approach pavements.  Curb and gutter, sidewalk, and an asphalt surface remain to be installed. The expected completion date is early November.

Our surveying group has found a lot of cool monuments out there.  The folks at Atlas Obscura explain the monuments that define Manhattan's 200 year old grid system and how it continues to work today.
