Maurer-Stutz provided planning, design, and construction engineering for the emergency replacement of failed dual CMPs with a dual-cell concrete box culvert in Peoria. Services included hydraulic and geotechnical analysis, coordination with IDOT and property owners, federal funding support, and Phase III construction engineering. The project also included preliminary design of a modern roundabout to improve traffic flow, with roadway reconstruction, retaining walls, multi-use paths, lighting, drainage, and right-of-way coordination.
