We have been advocates for Illinois infrastructure for a long time. The American Society of Civil Engineers issues an annual report card for the public infrastructure in all 50 states. Their 2014 report card for Illinois graded Illinois at a C-, which is an overall improvement from the D+ that was issued in 2013. While that is a bit of an improvement, there is much work that remains to be done.
