Allen Road over Illinois Route 6 / Peoria, Illinois

Maurer-Stutz provided engineering design for the reconstruction and widening of the Allen Road bridge over IL Route 6 in north Peoria as part of a larger Phase I and II study. The project included widening the existing three-lane overpass to five lanes with a barrier-protected multi-use path, re-decking the structure, and performing BCR, TSandamp;L, and structural design. Additional work included a lighted pedestrian tunnel for the Rock Island Trail State Park, multiple retaining walls, and a major culvert replacement.
